TILVERTON AND TILVER'S GAP

There are three passes through the Thunder Peaks: Thunder Gap in the south, and Shadow Gap and Tilver's Gap in the north. Roads from Shadow Gap and Tilver's Gap join at the small city of Tilverton, which has become important as a strategic location for Cormyr.
In 1357 DR, Tilverton was occupied by Cormyrean forces led by Duke Bhereu, one of the king's cousins. The given reason was the attacks of Lashan of Scardale and Zhentil Keep activity, but the crown of Cormyr has long had its eye on this valuable territory. The occupation was made with the tacit approval of the other Dales and Sembia, though both have since grown concerned about Cormyr's increasing power.
Cormyr has invested a great deal in expanding and improving its new protectorate. City walls have been erected to cover the sprawling town, and the main thoroughfares have been lined with cobblestones (they were previously mud tracks). There is a garrison of 850 Purple Dragons here, and foot patrols are common on the streets.
Tilverton is ruled by Lady Regent Alasalynn Rowanmancle, cousin to Shaeri Rowanmantle of Shadowdale, who oversees a elected local council. In reality, nothing happens in Tilverton that is not determined by Cormyr. She is aided by Cuthric Snow, a young courtier on his first posting outside Cormyr.
Tilverton has a temple to Gond Wonderbringer operating under the auspices of Burlan Almaether and 26 lesser priests. It also has shrines to Helm. Lathander, Silvanus, Tymora, and reportedly, hidden in the depths of the sewers, secret ones to Mask and Cyric.
Tilverton is still a growing, sprawling town, with many of the features found in other independent cities. Unlike most of Cormyr, it still has an organized thieves' guild: the Rogues of Tilverton. The Rogues have been engaging in a long-running and losing battle with the War Wizards and the Cormyrean soldiers.

INTRODUCTION OF CHARACTERS - MAIN CHAR NO 1

Weapon: Longsword (Silk), Armor: Elven Chain +4

Description
With the mention of Glenis, ones’ first thought would always be “Oh, isn’t he the one …I cannot remember his name…but I know he was someone famous than” Yes, it’s a sad fact that Glenis had been forgotten over the years as one of the most famous minstrel of the whole realm. Even less people would relate him as a deadly Bladesinger and Royal Guard of the Elven Kingdom.

He has many names than, to his enemies he was known as Glenis the Death-dancer, to his fellow elves Glenis the Guardian, to those that heard him sing Glenis the Songbird, to his loved ones Glenis the gentle lover, to his tailor “KC” Glenis the vain pout #..#$*%!.

Yes, Glenis is indeed very famous many years back, and many young elves have made him their idol and role model. Nevertheless, that was all in the past before Glenis retired from his servitude. Tired of all the politics in the Elven kingdom, Glenis had decided to lead a simple life instead, to enjoy peace and quiet in a small village far far away from his kingdom.

Glenis now stays in a run down inn in Tilverton. He still performs every night, singing his songs while pulling his two-string violin (Er-Hu). Many people came, many recall his songs, but few remembered his name. Glenis always appears clean-shaven, with his rebonded hair flowing freely down to his shoulder (thanks to his hair dresser JIM YIT). He likes to be garbed in silvery shirts of silk, dark colored pants, and with matching sandals or boots. He also perfected an idol post that will surely melt any ladies heart, however it seems not so effective in this part of the realm. And Glenis story continues in this tale….

The Tale of "The Contradictors"

The first tale to be told will be that of "The Contradictors". This is intended to be a short introduction, something as a "Pilot" project to test run the whole concept of this RPG blog.

Following normal screenplay, the main Characters will first be introduced. Than the tale will be narrated in Chapters and scenes. We are thinking of having Interactive Dialogues during the scenes, coupled with graphical images to bring out the story.

We will be experimenting as we move along, in hopes of recreating our table top sessions onto this blog. And the drums are rolling.....
